Would You Believe 26 Inches...and Still Wailing!

What a great movie! Except the movie is being playing as I look out the windows. It is still snowing sooo hard, and my last (for good) measurement, validated by the local TV/radio meteoroligists, is 26 inches. Much more to come.
As for NYC, Central Park snowfall has surpassed the Blizzard of 1888, which was 21 inches. And I did say 1888.... SURPASSED! Even I wasn't around for that one. Thanks guys.....I had to check in while there are still parts of my home's windows that give a view of outside.

So, what was your final total? According to the reports here, NYC (Central Park) got the very most, at 27".

So it must have stopped right after this post to keep you at 26.

It stated again last night here, very heavy fall, but only 1/2 hour to 45 minutes in duration.

We ended up at 16" in my back yard.

Final total here, in Farmington, which is 10 miles west of Hartford as the crow flies, is 27.5 inches. Anything over 2 feet was enough in the first place. But what a beautiful sight on a wonderful Sunday. To know you don't have to go anywhere and just enjoy the watching out the windows instead of your fav., Faithy, the TV (kidding readers. Do not get her started) and enjoy mother, or in this case I think Father had a hand in it, Nature.
