Lester tested for cancer
Yes, when I read that headline mere minutes ago in the Boston Herald, a feeling of dread came over me. A 22 year old shouldn't have to be concerned with such things. Enlarged lymph nodes can be caused by a number of things, from a cold to a simple infection to.....yes, cancer. So he, like Papi, is undergoing tests while we in RSN hold our collective breaths and say a few prayers. We're with you Jon. And David.

I will have another essay tonight:
Meanwhile, you've displaced Fenway Nation as #2;
I've moved up to #20.
I've been watching you and your rise up the charts. No one writes like you do. Tat would be an impossibility (compliment). And you know what? At first, I rocketed up to 6 or so, and I thought that it was because I asked some of my friends who are not everyday blog types to check out my blog. But since then well, I'm not sure how the "Top 100" voting works, but I'm getting hits from people that come back and read! A John Lennon said to his fellow Beatles in early '63, before the fame..."We're going to the toppermost of the poppermost." Take care and have a safe trip to beautiful weather (until Sat. PM) Fenway.
Thank goodness I check my spelling more carefully when I write a post. It's not a matter of spelling, just wayward fingers. Take care...enjoy Boston.
Michael's is another favorite of mine!such a sweet outlook on life for the both of you i actually prayed to the Lord last night peter that you would eventually reach NUmber One! because that's what you are in my heart- let's not forget pappy's heart pebble!my ron and i are still watching, and can't wait for the playoffs to start!

i recently went out to our parish garden and took a stone from the prayer area and have dubbed it pappys pebble- pt.2!i have prayed with it now a few times- not for homers this time, but for his wonderful soul to be healed or to be saved in the fold of our Lord should he not recover. any news on our pappy, peter?
all the best! may you have a wonderful day my friend!!!

Have fun at Fenway tonight, my friends. Or on NESN. The end result? The same! Be right here tomorrow, early. Promise. Thanks for reading.
