Keith Foulke Close To Cleveland Signing...And Is Zito To The Yankees That Far-Fetched??
It has been reported that Keith Foulke is close to an agreement with the Cleveland Indians, where he will compete for the closer's job with Joe Borowski. Good luck, Keith.....I don't know how many bullets you have left in your six-shooter, Keith, so maybe you should take up the bow and arrow.
On another note, let's play what if! What if.......the Yankees are successful in dealing RJ. Will that mean the door is open to a Zito signing? As a Red Sox fan, I HOPE NOT! The Yankees seem to be acting rationally for once....does this mean that Mr. Steinbrenner has really relinquished his everyday control? I hate to say this, but it sure looks like it. More to follow, as circumstances warrant. But Zito joining the Yankee rotation is indeed a scary thought. One maybe-reality that we as Sox lovers DO NOT NEED.

But that's OK.......feel better
okay!
i wrote a post on it
I just read your post, and all questions answered.
Bye till tomorrow here.....for me, at least.....
Zito's an overrated pitcher. And I think the Mets will outbid everyone for him, including the Yankees.
I don't want anyone on the Yankees who can help them out, as any Boston fan would say. Zito has a 3.83 ERA but a 16-10 record, so I don't know how good he truly is or if he was just unlucky.
Go Mets...but they do not think he is a number one starter. And the Yankees know how hittable Zito has been against AL East teams. So, a stalemate? Let's not forget about JD Drew too.
