And So The Spring Games Begin!
Finally! The Red Sox and Twins played to a 4-4 tie, and it was good to see the pitchers on the mound throwing to live batters in the box, although fastballs were the rule. And Curt Schilling was just fine, thank you, going two innings, allowing no runs on 2 hits. Smooth and easy fastball city. Following him were Piniero, Donnelly, Tavarez, who was responsible for most of the Twins runs, Delcarmen, Corey. Hernandez and Smith. Tavarez gave up four hits and three runs in a long fifth inning, and looked awful. But hey, it's the first game of spring training on the last day of February, so he's got time to get himself together. Schill? Don't worry about him. He's our number one.
I'll be back later on this soon to be beautiful Thursday.

The fears of Lugo making the routine throwing error came true all ready.
Yeah ... he'll have to keep redeeming himself with his bat.
But...but...well, I have no reply to that one, guys!
But he's fearsome at the plate...if only he could throw!
And yes, creeping facetiousness there
