Our Unpredictable As Always MANNY.......

I think if I was a mind reader, I'd slip into the mind of our very own leftfielder, Mr. Manny Ramirez. Or even better....Mr. Unpredictable. Right now it's the first week of March, and Manny seems to be happy. Maybe deliriously happy. This, from the Herald, linked when you click on the title. FORT MYERS - "News that Manny Ramirez is now so content with being a member of the Red Sox that he hopes to retire in a Boston uniform was met with mild skepticism by his teammates, who wonder if the enigmatic slugger can maintain that disposition.
Ramirez pulled Sox president Larry Lucchino aside on Tuesday at the minor league complex and was overheard apologizing for the “troubles” that his late arrival at spring training may have caused the team. His agent, Gene Mato, later told the Herald that his client was so “at peace” with his situation in Boston that he wants to finish his career there."

Peter here. Manny Being Manny with the subtitle Manny Being Happy? What's next? Manny Talks To The Media? That'd be nice. I don't care about an explanation. If that's the way he feels right now with his (and our) Red Sox "family," it can only bring good things to the club and its followers for this promising season. So Manny, nice to have you back! You're loved here....so stay! Be happy!! And pound some more dents in the Monster and tear some new holes in the net above the Monster seats. Or just hit it over everything. And it's true...we love you and need you. The Red Sox have a potentially (with a closer) remarkable team. We need you, and you need us. Together, in 2007, ANYTHING is possible.
