SOX WIN!! Rubber Soul!!

The Boston Red Sox scored twice in the 8th and twice in the 9th to take the rubber game of the series against Toronto. They come home to face the Yankees with a record of 9-5. One thing is for certain....Jonathon Papelbon, who threw 21 pitches yesterday and 26 today, will be getting the day off tomorrow. But we come home to Fenway happy. Full wrap-up in the morning.

Paps gave those Jay batters that "I'm Looking Through You" stare,
his pitches said "You Won't See Me"
and the Jays had to "Run For Your Life"!

Can't wait for this weekend's match up.

Yanks offense is on fire - very interested to see if it can hold up against the quality rotation that you guys have.

A-Rod is on fire

Good luck!!........ well, you know, not really - Yanks will take 2 of 3!!!

Not having won 2 in a row in Toronto, over '05 & '06, I think this may be the Sawx Year:

They may have finally mastered Rogers Centre;

When the weather warms up, Ap-Rod may cool down.

Was good to see Manny finally hit one in today's win.

I like the pitching matchups in the Yanks series, with Jeff Karstens and Chase Wright likely pitching the 2nd and 3rd games for NY.
Sox should be able to take 2 of 3.
If the Sox have a one run lead in the 9th Friday, I think we'll see Paps (even after 47 pitches in last 2 days). Unless Schill is still in the game.

Good point on Paps' pitch count, he'll definitely be on the shelf tomorrow. Can Curt go the distance? Doubtful.

But we did have to "Wait" awhile in the 9th as Paps momentarily faltered. Thanks BFW.
Hi MR. I can't wait either. The Yankees comebacks this year are amazing, although yesterday's was just bad Borowski pitching. AROD has been amazing though, so far. WOW!! I say the Sox take 2 of 3. Surprise surprise. You've always been my favorite Yankee commentator. A knowlege of baseball and a respect for the other team. I hope you think of me the same.
Hey ML. Hi Kristin....I'm excited. Mike, Manny's blast was music for the eyes. Bosox, we'll have to see. I think 8 is the limit. And s1c, anytime we beat Halladay is a yipee day!!!
Thanks everyone! Fenway tonight....weather for the gods. And great comments all!!!
