Schill To Oki To Paps....PHEW!!!!!
Curt Schilling ran out of gas in the middle of the pitch-filled 7th, and at times the Sox ran themselves out on the basepaths. Those gaffes almost came back to bite them you-know where, but then Hideki "the Darkman" Okajima bailed the club out. JUST. He allowed 2 inherited runners to score, but pitched through the 8th. And then it was "PAPS" TIME. 1-2-3. Game over. The Red Sox win and take 2 of 3 from the Twinkies, cream filled or not. The Sox are 20-10 on this bad news Sunday. A full wrap-up right here in the morning as the Sox travel to Toronto for an off day Monday and a 3 game series starting Tuesday. 20-10...NOT BAD! Clemens be damned!

On the Clemens thing. Yes, very glad to have him back, we needed him more.
I think the sub-story here is Yanks GM Brian Cashman. On three very high profile and recent deals he has gotten it done when Boston's office couldn't (A-Rod, Damon, and now Clemens).
Hi Ya'll. OK we lost today (I'm the odd O's Fan that posts here) but I have to call out that the "B Rod" Brian Roberts hit 9 foul balls in a row in the 9th. He would not let the pitcher walk him. He wanted to hit. At least we have heart this year.
Peter, I hope this post is OK.
MR, the Sox were not going to pay SUPERMAN a pro-rated $28 million....let's see how he does against AL hitting. But a good part of me says that he'll be just fine. Good for you and your team!
Hi Faithy! ALL your posts are great....whattcha mean?? I love it when you visit.
