Yes, the LA Angels come to town for the first of four games this afternoon at 1:05. A night game will follow. Here are your pitching matchups.....
John Lackey (15-6, 3.07 ERA) vs. Buchholz, first game today
Ervin Santana (5-11, 6.22) vs. Beckett (15-5, 3.24), second game today
Jered Weaver (8-5, 3.85) vs. Schilling (6-5, 4.06), Saturday
Joe Saunders (6-1, 3.50) vs. TBA Sunday.
I'll be ecstatic if we take 3 out of 4...Lackey is a tough customer and with Sunday's starter being Julian Tavarez (most likely), who knows what will happen. The world won't end if we split the series, however. The Angels are tough.

The Sox site is sayimg it's Buchholz vs Santana isd game one, which means Beckett vs Lackey in game two.

Good outing by Buchholz. He needs a little more polishing but he looks ready
