Papi-less Red Sox Routing Mets
12-5 Boston right now in the top of the 8th at Fenway. Every Boston hitter has had a hit, except for Big Papi. More to come.
Going into the bottom of the 8th...12-5 good guys. Delcarmen has been GREAT! I'll be back for the top of the 9th.
After 8 full, 12-5 Red Sox.
Pitching for Boston is Saito as Youk moves to third and Bailey mans first...still 12-5 Sox...count 1-2..2-2..3-2..not much tension at the Fens..one out and the count is 0-1. Foul ball makes the count 0-2...another foul ball, still 0-2...ground ball to Bailey at first...2 outs...strike one...strike two...crowd standing...now 1-2...Yankees and Jays lost and BOSTON WINS!!!!

Well, thank goodness! It was embarrassing to lose TWO games to that ridiculous team. If the Sox had lost all three, it would be doubly mortifying.
They didn't! The Mets COULD be good but they have been paralyzed with injuries. But remember, Victoria, when Santana is pitching for them, they're as good as anybody.
