So Far, A Rough Start For Jon Lester...

Monday afternoon baseball in Minnesota and Lester struggles. Pavano? We have to clobber him. So far, we're not.

The game is on NESN and all the Red Sox radio sources. 2-0 twinkies. More later.

Now 3-0. My goodness.

Hey Peter - Guess Who? Want to hear a funny one? We are the worst batters in the league so far this year. Being an O-ptimist, we end poorly when we start strong - so look out this year, we must be getting ready to Wail, LOL

HI there!!!! How are you? About the O's, the past couple of years they've started out strong in April and then faded. I THINK I'm correct. But you know what? This year they have better players. The Yankees are just SO strong, though. It's sickening.

Have a great spring, my longtime friend.

The Yankees BUY baseball, but they don't have a clue how to FEEL it - regardless of how much they spend, and how many games they buy - they are never winners. That said, my point was that since our strong starts ended in horrid letdowns, perhaps it is a good thing to start out weak. At least we get there the honest way - Love of the game - not the money
