National League Breaks 13 Year All Star Jinx

Yes, the National League beat the American League by a score of 3-1 Tuesday night in California. It was Brian McCann's seventh inning three run double that gave the NL team all they needed. Heck, they were bound to win SOMETIME! Big Papi, who was thrown out at second on a fielder's choice, had this to say on the game...

“It happens. That’s a major league baseball team, too. You play to win, but if they win, what can you do about it?”

You go home, that's what you do. No one was hurt, the late George Steinbrenner was suitably honored and everybdy had a jolly good time. All Star Game 2010 is in the books and I hope you enjoyed watching it. Me? I fell asleep early. It was going to be a hard day's night, as Ringo said a long, long time ago in a world far, far away, so I missed the festivities. My dreams were nice...in color and 3D!

Real baseball starts up again tomorrow. Until then, I'll see you. Click on the title of this post for more All Star stuff and as always, BE WELL.

What is home field advantage worth anyways. The Red Sox had it in '04 and '07 and they didn't need it. Though maybe in '07 ALCS, but then again maybe not.

Hello to you, Christopher. To tell you the truth, the Yankees need it more than anyone. They won 9 of 10 home games at the Stadium in the last couple years.
