Red Sox Draw The Line

I just spied this from the Boston Globe's EXTRA BASES. I'll have a comment after you read this...


ORLANDO - "One major league source indicated last night that the Sox will go no more than four years, $52 million for Adrian Beltre. And they appear to be on the same type of path with Victor Martinez.
Beltre's agent, Scott Boras, is here at the meetings and is likely to check in with Theo Epstein if he hasn't already on Beltre and Jayson Werth."

I'd love for Boston to land both Martinez and Beltre with the extra hitter, Jason Werth, in the mix, too. All three? We're talking fairy tales. But I can dream, can't I? While I'm at it, hmmm, what to do about that bullpen? To be continued...
