Boston Red Sox Reel Off Their Seventh Straight Victory

Last night versus the Toronto Blue Jays up in Canada the Boston Red Sox kept winning and beat them by a score of 5-1, giving them their seventh straight consecutive win. Currently, Boston is in first place all by themselves, followed by New York and Tampa. I said it yesterday and I'll say it in the future...WHAT A COMEBACK! Ellsbury had a three hit game as did Pedroia. Pedey had an RBI, though. Adrian Gonzalez continued his torrid start with two safeties and his impeccable first base defense was there for all to see.

Today, the afternoon will be the stage as we take on the birds once again. TOILING ON THE MOUND WILL BE Morrow and Lackey and Lester and Draback on Sunday. Another sweep? Well, it's so much fun to watch and see exactly what happened. So that's my plan. Here's what the AL East looks like right now. The Red Sox are in first place with a record of 37-26, one game in front of the 34-27 Yankees. Tampa Bay is 33-30. Life, at least in baseball, is just fine, thank you. SO SOX!
