Red Sox Win Again..They Won't Go Down Fighting..Boston 10-Baltimore 3
There was excitement from the first inning to the eighth Friday night at Fenway Park. Boston scored eight runs in the first and Papi got into it with Kevin Gregg in the eighth. It was sheer mayhem but most importantly, Boston keeps winning and winning and now they are a full game ahead of the NY Yankees in the AL East standings. But first, I want to tell you where I was for three days, Wednesday through Friday. You sure can miss a lot in that amount of time. I wasn't feeling well Tuesday and much worse Wednesday, so bad with nausea and a few other things that I checked into St. Francis Hospital Wednesday mid-afternoon and was released yesterday afternoon. I'm OK and I can tell you for sure, there's no place like home, there's no place like home. OK, back to the game, a game you can see all the highlights of if you click on this post's title. I'll remind you later.
In the bottom of the first inning the Red Sox hitting machine shifted into fourth gear (better torque than fifth) and plated eight men against the usually solid Zach Britton. That was all she wrote in terms of runs needed and Boston cruised from there but not without a little fear and the aforementioned fight in the eighth. You can see the fight just be clicking on this post's title. You'll see a couple of ways to watch the fight highlights and complete game highlights. If you want the full game highlights, look for a box with the team's two emblems and go from there. Have fun!
Today, the Sox and the O's go at it again with John Lackey going against Simon. First pitch time is 7:10pm EDT. Boston has won four in a row and I'l love to see them make it five. GO SOX.
It's great to be back, don't forget to click on this post's title and as always, BE WELL. PLEASE.
